SUMMARY:Love Letters – A Romantic Play by A. R. Gurney
DESCRIPTION:A Romantic Play by A. R. Gurney \nDirected by David O’Hara \nAndrew Makepeace Ladd III and Melissa Gardner\, both born to wealth and position\, are childhood friends whose lifelong correspondence begins with birthday party thank-you notes and summer camp postcards. Romantically attached\, they continue to exchange letters through the years. Life takes them both in different directions but eventually\, she and Andy do become involved in a brief affair\, but it is too late for both of them. Andy’s final letter makes it eloquently clear how much they really meant and gave to each other over the years—physically apart but spiritually as close as only true lovers can be.

SUMMARY:Always A Bridesmaid – A Comedy by Jones\, Hope\, Wooten
DESCRIPTION:A Comedy by Jones\, Hope\, Wooten\nDirected by Jamie Bierchen \nLaugh with these beleaguered bridesmaids as they navigate the choppy waters of love and matrimony. Libby Ruth\, Deedra\, Monette\, and Charlie are committed to the notion that careers\, waistlines\, and even marriages may disappear\, but real friendships last a lifetime. They repeatedly struggle to stage the perfect wedding in spite of fistfights at the altar\, runaway brides\, and the mistaken release of a flock of white doves on the first day of hunting season. Always A Bridesmaid is a tale of loyal and determined women who definitively answer the question\, “Just how far are you willing to go to keep a promise to a friend?”

SUMMARY:Knowledge & Nibbles – The History of the Arts in Tarpon Springs
DESCRIPTION:New Date: Tuesday\, March 26 • 2:00 PM \nTarpon Springs has an extraordinarily rich history in the arts for such a small coastal town; from the visual arts to architecture\, folklife\, film\, music\, and even the culinary arts. The legacy of the arts in Tarpon Springs began in the 1890s when George Inness\, one of the best-known artists in America\, put the name Tarpon Springs on many of his paintings. In the early 20th century\, the arrival of Greek immigrants added to the cultural diversity of the City. Today Tarpon Springs is a nurturing community for artists\, as proudly acknowledged through the contributions of favorite son artist Christopher Still. \n  \n**** MOVED TO TARPON SPRINGS CULTURAL CENTER (101. S. Pinellas Ave.)

SUMMARY:ART – Winner 1998 Tony Award for Best Play
DESCRIPTION:A Comedy / Drama by Yasmina Reza\, Translated by Christopher Hampton; Winner 1998 Tony Award for Best Play\nDirected by Laura Lane \nSerge has just purchased an expensive painting. It’s all white with white diagonal lines. To his friend Marc\, the painting is a joke\, but Serge insists Marc doesn’t have the proper criterion to judge the work. Another friend\, Ivan\, finds himself pulled into the disagreement. Eager to please\, Ivan tells Serge he likes the painting. Lines are drawn and these old friends square off over the canvas that borders on either destroying or reaffirming their friendships.
